Uttar Baridhara Club regained the lead in the Bangladesh Championship League after playing out a 3-3 draw with Farashganj SC at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.
Baridhara, who have 24 points from 13 matches, just need a draw in their last match against Victoria SC to gain promotion to the Bangladesh Premier Division next season as third-placed Rahmatganj have 18 points from 12 matches. The champions and runners-up will be promoted to the Bangladesh Premier League.
Jibon slotted a hattrick for Baridhara while Ripon, Shafiq and Sujan scored one goal each for Farashganj.
