Banks asked to increase maternity leave to six months

Bangladesh Bank has directed all banks to increase the maternity leaves of their female employees to six months.
The central bank in an order recently asked the banks to include the increasing of the female employees maternity leave in their human resources policy, take approval of the Boards and send it to the regulator by May.
In January, the government in a gazette increased the maternity leave to six months.
