Trains to run at full capacity from Feb 13

Trains will start taking passengers at full capacity from February 13, Bangladesh Railway said in a notification on Sunday.

BR will start selling tickets for those trains from February 9 because BR usually sells tickets up to five days ahead of a trip, Shafiqur Rahman, director (traffic) at BR, told The Daily Star yesterday.

Fifty percent of the tickets will be sold online and the rest will be sold at train stations.

BR has been selling only half the tickets for its trains since January 15.
