Provisions will be introduced to enable the trial of Awami League as a political party, said Information Adviser Mahfuj Alam.

"The fascist League will surely be brought to justice," he said in a Facebook post this evening, adding that a second tribunal is being formed to expedite the judicial process.

Mahfuj did not elaborate on the specific legal amendments or timeline for the formation of the new tribunal.

"To expedite judicial proceedings, Tribunal-2 is being constituted," he wrote.
