Gono Odhikar Parishad: Reza Kibria convenor, Nur member secretary of new political party

A new political party -- Bangladesh Gono Odhikar Parishad -- was launched today with former Gono Forum General Secretary Dr Reza Kibria and former Ducsu Vice Present Nurul Haque Nur as convenor and member secretary respectively.

The 83-member convenor committee was declared at a press conference at the party office in Dhaka's Paltan area today.

Most of the leaders of the new party are former and current leaders of Bangladesh Sadharon Chhatra Odhikar Songrokkhon Parishad, Bangladesh Jubo Adhikar Parishad and Bangladesh Shramik Odhikar Parishad.
