Sufiur Rahman appointed special assistant to chief adviser

The Cabinet Division has announced the appointment of Mohammad Sufiur Rahman as special assistant to the chief adviser of the interim government.
According to an official notification, Sufiur Rahman will hold the rank and status of a state minister. Under the Rules of Business, 1996, he has been delegated executive authority over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist the adviser.
While serving in this role, he will receive the salary, allowances, and all ancillary facilities entitled to a state minister.
