Demand for ‘Swaraswati’ idols plummets

Artisans in Thakurgaon are worried about making desired profit supplying idols of Swaraswati, the goddess of learning, as they are yet to get good response from clients for the closure of educational institutions due to coronavirus.

The artisans are passing busy times for giving finishing touches to the idols amid frustration as the Saraswati Puja is set to be observed on Saturday.
