ACI director Najma Dowla no more

Najma Dowla, director of the board of ACI Limited and its subsidiaries, breathed her last on July 28 at a hospital in Dhaka.

She was 75, said a press release.

Najma Dowla left behind her husband M Anis Ud Dowla, chairman, ACI Limited; daughter Shusmita Anis, son Dr Arif Dowla, daughter-in-law Rumana Rashid Ishita, grandchildren and numerous friends and relatives to mourn her.

Her namaz-e-janaza was held at Daljor village in Sreepur, Gazipur around 1:15pm yesterday.

Najma Dowla was laid to rest at her family graveyard in Gazipur's Sreepur after necessary funeral formalities.

The family has requested all to pray for the departed soul.

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries expressed deep shock at her passing.
