4 additional secretaries promoted, 5 secretaries transferred

Four additional secretaries have been promoted to the posts of secretaries while five secretaries transferred to other ministries and departments.

The announcement came in the form of a gazette notification published today (May 18, 2022).

Divisional Commissioner of Khulna Ismiel Hossain has been promoted to secretary of the food ministry; Additional Secretary of Finance Division Dr Farhina Ahmed to secretary of the Ministry of Environment; Additional Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry Hasanuzzaman Kollol to secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs; and additional secretary (name not known) of Ministry of Energy to secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare, reads the gazette notification.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Social Welfare Ministry Mahfuza Akhter has been transferred to Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission as its chairperson while secretary of Shipping Ministry Mohammed Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury to secretary of local government ministry, secretary of Ministry of Women Welfare Dr Md Anwar Hossain Howlader to the Ministry of Health Service Division, Rajuk chairman ABM Amin Ullah Nuri to the Ministry of Roads and Highways and secretary of Ministry of Environment Mostafa Kamal to secretary of Ministry of Shipping.

Besides, additional secretary of Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) Anisur Rahman Miah has been transferred to Rajuk as its chairman.
