Police constable arrested with heroin in Dinajpur's Hili

Hakimpur police arrested a constable, Aminul Islam (35), with 40gm of heroin in Hili of Dinajpur.

Aminul was arrested last night from Chandipur area of ​​Hakimpur upazila. He was sent to jail today after a court hearing, reports our local correspondent quoting police.

Hakimpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC), Khairul Bashar Shamim, said that on the basis of a tip-off, they came to know that there were drugs in a house in Chandipur village.

Later in a drive, a police constable was arrested from the spot with heroin.

Aminul Islam was assigned to a district stone quarry in Madhyapara, said the OC, adding that he had previously worked at Hakimpur Police Station.
