Irregularities during SSC exam: Dhamrai teacher jailed for 2 years

A mobile court today sentenced a school teacher to two years in jail for allegedly facilitating irregularities during SSC examination in a centre in Dhaka's Dhamrai upazila.

The accused Emdadul Hoque, a teacher of Jalsha High School in the upazila, was an invigilator during the ICT MCQ test at the Nabojug University College exam centre, reports our Savar correspondent quoting Hossain Mohammad, executive magistrate of the mobile court.

Emdadul allegedly provided examinees with answers to the test in violation to rules, he added.

The mobile court also relieved 13 teachers from their duties during the drive, who were invigilating in two different exam centres in the upazila.
