Graft Case: Former Rajuk chair appears in court on stretcher, gets bail
Appearing in court on a stretcher, Humayun Khadem, former chairman of Rajuk, yesterday secured bail till June 4 in a case filed over the allotment of government land in the name of individuals in the capital's Gulshan.
Judge Md Iqbal Hossain of the Special Judge's Court-5 of Dhaka passed the order.
During yesterday's hearing, Humayun's lawyer told the court that his client, was not in a position to appear before it earlier as he could not move without the help of others. The judge granted him bail till June 4, the next scheduled date.
