Dipu Moni, Menon, Inu and Palak again shown arrested

Dipu Moni, Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Hasanul Haq Inu

Former social welfare minister Dipu Moni; former state minister for posts, telecommunications and information technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak; Workers Party President and former civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon; and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President and former information minister Hasanul Haq Inu were shown arrested in three separate cases filed with different police stations in Dhaka.

Dipu Moni and Palak were shown arrested in a case filed over death of Md Riazul Talukder, an employee of a courier service, during the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement on August 4.

On October 26, the case was filed against 68 people, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Dipu Moni and Palak with Shahbagh Police Station.

Meanwhile, Menon and Inu were shown arrested in another case filed over an attack on the motorcade of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at the capital's Moghbazar on February 8, 2018.

On November 8, the case was filed with Hatirjheel Police Station against 65 people, including Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader and former Jatiya Party lawmaker from Barishal-3 constituency Golam Kibria Tipu.

Inu was also shown arrested in another case filed over the death of Sohan Shah, 30, during the quota reform movement on July 19.

Sohan, an executive mechanical engineer of Virgo Garments Company, was shot in front of Rampura CNG Station on July 19. He succumbed to his injuries on 28 August at a hospital.
