Border trespassing: Two Indian nationals detained in Sylhet, Sunamganj

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has detained two Indian nationals from separate locations along the Sylhet border for illegally entering Bangladesh today.
They were apprehended by BGB units in Sylhet and Sunamganj, said Lt Col Md Hafizur Rahman, commanding officer of the Sylhet Battalion (48 BGB), in a press release issued this evening.
The detainees have been identified as Blooming Star, 32, from Wamlink village in East Khasi Hill district of Meghalaya, and Locus, 55, from Barman Tila village in the same district.
Blooming Star was detained in the Damdamiya border area of Sylhet's Gowainghat upazila, while Locus was detained in the Banglabazar area of Sunamganj's Chhatak upazila.
According to the BGB, both men will be handed over to police stations. Cases will filed in connection with their illegal entry into Bangladesh.
