Badiuzzaman new ACC chief
The government has appointed Mohammad Badiuzzaman as the new chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission and Nasir Uddin Ahmed as its commissioner.
President Abdul Hamid approved their appointments yesterday, Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan told The Daily Star last night.
Prior to his appointment as the ACC chief, Badiuzzaman had been serving as a commissioner of the anti-graft body.
Nasir Uddin, a retired government official, last served the National Board of Revenue as its chairman.
Their appointments come two days after Ghulam Rahman retired as the ACC boss on Sunday.
