Asif Ali takes oath as CAG

Asif Ali, the newly-appointed Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) took oath yesterday. Chief Justice Mainur Reza Chowdhury administered the oath at his Supreme Court chamber.

Outgoing Comptroller and Auditor General Ahsan Ali Sarkar, Finance Secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan, former CAG's K M Hossain, M Hafizuddin Khan and Syed Yusuf Hossain, among others, were present at the ceremony.
