Aman denied bail

A Dhaka court yesterday again sent BNP leaders Amanullah Aman and AZM Zahid Hossain to jail after rejecting their bail and remand prayers in an arson case.
The case was filed for torching vehicles and exploding cocktails before BNP central office in the capital's Nayapaltan on March 6.
The court passed the order after the investigation officer of the case produced them before it with a 10-day remand prayer for each.
Police rearrested Aman, BNP joint secretary general, and Zahid, a leader of Doctors' Association of Bangladesh, on May 19 at Dhaka Central Jail gate.
