10 injured in Ctg gas cylinder blast

At least 10 people were injured as a gas cylinder exploded at an ice factory in Chittagong Sadar upazila Saturday morning.
Uttam Chandra Deb, officer-in-charge of Karnaphuli Police Station, said a ammonia gas cylinder blasted at M/S Ice and Cold factory with a big bang around 11:00am.
At least 10 people, who were nearby the factory buildings, were injured in the explosion, reports our Chittagong correspondent quoting the OC.
Of them, a teacher and five students of a nearby madrasa, who jumped off the madrasa building hearing the big bang, were rushed to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
Some of the injured also fell sick after inhaling ammonia gas spread following the cylinder explosion.
