Judiciary separation hailed
Different organisations yesterday hailed the government's decision to separate the judiciary from the executive and termed it a beginning of a new era.
Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh heartily felicitated the caretaker government for its move to separate the judiciary from the executive. It also thanked President Iajuddin Ahmed, Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed, Information Adviser Mainul Hosein and other advisers.
In a joint statement, its convener ATM Kamal and member secretary Zafar Sadek said a new chapter in Bangladesh's governance is going to kick off today. The November 1 will remain a milestone in the struggle to establish good governance.
In a joint statement, leaders of Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote said the separation of judiciary is a core demand of people, but no government in the past implemented it, though they claimed to be democratic.

Hailing the decision, it urged all concerns to cooperate to implement the judiciary separation.
Leaders of the Parishad urged all to avoid all sorts of negative and instigating words, as the people from all stations of life are waiting for the implementation of the historic verdict of the Supreme Court.
