Two killed in road accidents

Two people were killed in a separate road accidents in Gaibandha and Barisal in last two days.
Our correspondent from Gaibandha reports: One person was killed and three others were injured in a road accident on Rangpur-Sundarganj road at Kalitoal in Gaibandha yesterday.
The victim was identified as Korban Ali, 65.
Police said the accident occurred when a speeding bus hit Kobran and crushed him under its wheels.
Police seized the bus. Driver and helper of the bus managed to flee the spot.
Our correspondent in Barisal adds: One person was killed in a road accident on Barisal-Dhaka highway at Natun Hut in Barisal on Friday night.
The victim was identified as Sumon Karmakar, 20.
Family sources said a pick up van crushed him under its wheels when he was returning home shutting down his shop at a fair.
Police recovered the body and sent to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
