3 bullet-hit, 1 hacked in land dispute

Four of a family were injured in a clash over a disputed land at Rajbari Mograpara Colony in Port upazila on Thursday night.
Police said Abdul Matin, 45, his son Rabbi, 15, and Russell, 22, received bullet injury while Matin's younger brother Alauddin was hacked. Rabbi was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and the rest were being treated at Narayanganj hospital.
A Sub-Inspector at the Port police station said Rabiul alias Rabu Majhi of Rajbari had a land dispute with his two brothers Matin and Alauddin. They met on Thursday to resolve the dispute but the meeting failed. Rabu's son-in-law Sohel along with his aides Mahiuddin, Madan and Arif sprayed bullets on Matin, Rabbi and Russell.
They also stabbed Alauddin, he added.
