Doctor held in connection with killing of BCL leader at DMC

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members yesterday arrested a doctor from Comilla in connection with the killing of Abul Kalam Asad, general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Dhaka Medical College unit, on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Dr Kamrul Hasan, a doctor who practices at a private clinic and a member of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad.
Later, he was handed over to Lalbagh police in the evening.
Meanwhile, BCL central committee yesterday suspended nine members of DMC unit BCL.
