1,000 kg jatka seized in N'ganj

Members of the Coast Guard yesterday seized 1,000-kilogram of jatka (hilsha fry) from Dharmaganj on the river Dhaleswari under Fatullah Police Station in Narayanganj.
Coast guard sources said the jatka was brought here from Patuakhali to take to Swarighat.
The people carrying the jatka fled from the spot seeing the members of the Coast Guard.
Later, the jatka were destroyed by putting it under earth.
