Parash in semis

Defending five-time champion Ahsan Habib Parash stormed into the men's singles semifinals of the Amicus 29th National Badminton Championships when he came from a set down to beat Saifuddin 17-21, 21-12 and 21-12 in Bogra yesterday.
In the quarterfinals, Mashrafee upset Jabed 21-18, 18-21, 21-18 while Rais blanked Tushar 21-14, 21-11 and Enayet defeated Hannan 19-21, 21-10, 21-14.
Parash also reached the men's doubles semis pairing with his Biman teammate Sumon while the other pairs to move into the last four are Enamul and Dulal, Rais and Hannan and Jabed and Mukter.
Meanwhile, Shapla and Kanika set a final clash in women's singles. Shapla beat Rozina 21-8, 21-12 and Kanika defeated Elina 21-15, 23-21.
