It has been reported that the govt has instituted a high-powered committee to review the cases of those civilian officials who have suffered at the hands of the four-party alliance rulers (DS: 30 January 2009). However, it is not very clear whether the same committee will also examine the cases of the officers of the defence forces. If not, then a similar committee may be formed to review the cases of the officers of the armed forces who were given similar treatment.
