Two prisoners die in hospital

A prisoner convicted for life passed away due to respiratory problem at Bagerhat Sadar Hospital on Friday night.
Jail sources said Babul Farazi, 52, of Rajbari village in Mollahat upaizla, fell sick on Friday afternoon. He was rushed to district Sadar Hospital where he died at night.
Farazi was awarded life term imprisonment by a court in a murder case and had been in the jail since 1992.

BSS from Jamalpur adds: A prisoner identified as Azizul Islam, 60, of village Bugbari under Melandaha upazila died due to a massive cardiac arrest Jamalpur General Hospital yesterday.
Islam was rushed to the hospital in the morning from the district jail as his condition was rapidly falling due to the sudden illness, said the jail sources.
He died in the hospital at 9:40am. Later his body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
