BDR members recovered huge Indian cloths worth about Tk 1.5 crore from a truck on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Padua Bazar rail crossing early yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of 33-rifle battalion, led by Commander Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mukim Sarker, raided the area at about 3:30am and recovered the cloths from an abandoned truck.
The cloths include 1700 pieces of saree, 2500 three-pieces and fabrics.
