Firearms recovered in Bandarban

Members of the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) yesterday recovered two firearms and ammunition in Jarulichhari under Naikhongchhari upazila, BDR sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, BDR launched an operation at Jumchari in Jaruliachari border area and recovered the arms and ammunition Friday night.
The arms and ammunition included a Pakistan made rifle, one LG, four rounds of bullets and 15 big knives. Later, those were handed over to police.
However, none was arrested in this connection.
