11 hurt in BCL-Shibir clash at Thakurgaon
At least 11 students were injured in a clash between the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Islami Chhatra Shibir at Thakurgaon Government College yesterday noon.

As BCL activists were exchanging greetings with the newcomer students of first year at about 1:00pm, some Shibir cadres teased them and consequently the two groups engaged in a clash, sources said.
Of the injured, Rajiur Rahaman Rajek and Shah Paran Shifat of BCL and Harun-or-Rashid, Nazmul Alam, Omar Faruk and Alamgir of Shibir were admitted to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital.
On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
