Tele-film “Dui Bhubon” on Rtv tonight
Rtv will air a telefilm, Dui Bhubon tonight at 8:00pm. The story of the tele-film focuses on illegal migration and its consequences.
Since childhood two sisters has always competed with each other on every issue. So, when the daughter-in-law of one of the sisters gets a chance to go to London as a nurse, the other sister decides to send her daughter, who is also a nurse to London, by any means. At one point the two families take this as another competition. Both young women are sent to London -- one with legal papers and another illegally. One in London, the illegal migrant, faces severe difficulties and hardship while the other does quite well.
Dui Bhubon is directed by Shaiful Islam Mannu. Afroza Banu, Dolly Zahur, Tazin Ahmed and Al Mamun have played the central roles in Dui Bhubon
The tele-film is a production of the Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU) and the University of Dhaka affiliated centre for research, training and advocacy on migration. RMMRU has made three TV plays and two tele-films so far under their “Awareness Campaign against Irregular Migration”. The campaign is supported by the British High Commission, Dhaka.
