Arsenicosis

Arsenic is a poison that can take our lives. At present it is found in most of the tubewells in Jhenidah district. The arsenic contaminated tubewell water must be avoided for the safety of our lives. Arsenic causes a disease called arsenicosis. The person affected by it suffers from various complications. The patient loses stamina, the skin becomes rough. Soars are also found and bleeding is common. It causes stomach disorders and even cancer.
We have to avoid drinking arsenic contaminated water. As an alternative, we can collect rainwater and pond water.
