Two killed in road accidents

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Brahmanbaria and Satkhira yesterday.
Our correspondent in Brahmanbaria reports: A minor boy was killed in a road accident on Comilla-Sylhet highway at Kharera village under Kasba upazila in the district yesterday.
The victim was identified as Md Muzammel Mia, 8, son of Md Alamgir Mia.
The accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound speeding bus from Chittagong knock him down while he was crossing the road.
Our Correspondent in Satkhira adds: A cyclist was killed in a road accident on Haribhanga-Assassuni road near Haribhanga Bridge at Assassuni upazila in the district yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Karim, 34, son of Ramzan Ali Moral of village Haribhanga.
The accident occurred when a motorcycle hit his bicycle, leaving him seriously injured.
He succumbed to his injuries on his way to a local hospital.
