Dewan passes away

Former footballer Mosharraf Dewan died at National Hospital in Dhaka yesterday at the age of 45.
Mosharraf, who was the football secretary of Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra, had stints at Abahani, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society, Chittagong Customs and Dhaka Wanderers Club where he led the attack and scored several goals.
He left behind his wife, two sons and a host of friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
