Highway robbery in Sylhet, one stabbed

Armed miscreants looted valuables worth about Tk 5 lakh from passengers of 10 vehicles on Sylhet-Fenchuganj road Thursday night.
They put logs on the road and stopped the vehicles in Kalaghati area at about 10:30pm. They took away gold ornament, mobile phone sets and money from passengers. One Kajol Miah was stabbed. He was admitted to a local hospital, police said yesterday.
Police caught four suspects from Fenchuganj. One Firoze Miah filed a case with Fenchuganj police station. High police officials visited the spot.
