'Pre-dialogue meetings meaningless'

Workers' Party of Bangladesh (WPB) President Rashed Khan Menon yesterday said the pre-dialogue meetings of the government with the political parties were not meaningful and also could not grab confidence of the countrymen, says a press release.
He said this at a view exchange meeting with the party leaders of Gazipur on the eve of the May Day at its office at Paltan in the city.
“The government wants qualitative changes in politics but it did not tell the people frankly what it wants. For that the pre-dialogue meetings of the government with the political parties were not meaningful,” Menon said.
