Grand Master Abdullah Al Rakib continued his winning run to take the solo lead in the 34th National Chess Championship at the federation hallroom yesterday.
Defending champion Rakib won his third round board against FM Abu Sufian Shakil to secure three points.
GM Ziaur Rahman, IM Enamul Hossain Rajib and FM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar followed the leader with 2.5 points each.
Zia drew with Rajib in the third round and Sagar beat Monir Hossain.
