Jankulovski considers int'l future

Czech and AC Milan defender Marek Jankulovski has said he could quit the national squad to concentrate on his club commitments after the upcoming Euro-2008 championships.
"I am considering this idea...that after the championships I finish with the national team and devote myself just to my appearances at AC Milan.
"It is perhaps necessary to give priority to the youngsters," Jankulovski told Wednesday's edition of the daily, 'Sport.'
No final decision has been taken, he added.
The 31-year old said he felt the need to slow down, adding that he had knee problems and wanted to spend more time with his family. The announced retirement of Czech manager Karel Bruckner after the championships was also a factor, he said.
The defender made his debut with the national team in 2000 and has represented his country 62 times.
The Czechs will face Euro 2008 co-hosts Switzerland in Basel on June 7 before Portugal on June 11 in Geneva and then Turkey on June 15, also in Geneva, to complete their Group A schedule.
