Joynal Hazari's cadre member arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a member of the notorious 'steering committee' of former Awami League lawmaker Joynal Hazari from a flat at Twin Tower at Shantinagar in the city yesterday.
The arrestee, Ekramul Huq is an accused in several cases, including four murders in Feni. He was a member of Fulgazi upazila steering committee.
Rab-3 officials said Ekramul and his gang members had carried out criminal activities with firearms like AK-47 rifles in Feni district. He went into hiding soon after the present caretaker government took over.
