Mob sets fire to bus in Ctg

Mob set fire to a passenger bus when it rammed a rickshaw, killed the rickshaw-puller on the spot and injured two others in front of Hazera-Taju Degree College under Chandgaon Police Station yesterday morning.
Identity of the ill-fated rickshaw-puller could not be known immediately while the injured were Zonaed, 20, and Faruk, 25.
Sources said the accident occurred at around 10:00am.
The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Locals also put up a barricade on the road that halted the traffic movement in the area for an hour.
Later, police and members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) brought the situation under control while fire fighters extinguished the fire.
