Muktijoddha to play in IFA Shield

Muktijoddha Sangsad will take part in the 117th IFA Shield to be held in Kolkata from March 2 to 17.
“We will take part in the IFA Shield from the round-robin phase and are possibly placed in a group which also includes East Bengal,” informed Shafiqul Islam Manik. “This will be the third time that Muktijoddha Sangsad are going to take part in the IFA Shield even though the club never reached the final.”
To strengthen the squad, Muktijoddha Sangsad included three players from outside of their squad. They are -- goalkeeper Aminul Haque, midfielder Arman Aziz and striker Enamul Haque.
Muktijoddha Sangsad are likely to leave for Kolkata on March 2.
