53 killed in Zambia bus crash

Fifty-three people were killed in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck near the Zambian capital yesterday, a government official said.
The bus belonged to the Zambia Postal Service and was heading from the Copperbelt mining province to Lusaka. Local media reported as many as 70 passengers were on the bus, but Kalaba could not confirm the figure.
