BD A clinch golf title

The Bangladesh A team clinched the team title of the Runner Group 28th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship at the close of the second round at the Kurmitola Golf Club yesterday.
Bangladesh A, comprising Mohammad Sajib Ali and Mohammad Nazim made an aggregate score of 283, just two less than runners-up Bangladesh B which consisted of Mohammad Sagor and Mohammad Liton.
On the second day, Nazim played a round of even-par-72 while his partner Sajib put up a superb performance, scoring five-under-par-67 to ensure the team title for Bangladesh A.
The Indian team, comprising Udayan Mane and Karan Taunk became the second runners-up with a total score of 287.
In the Individual category, Sajib Ali and Indian Karan Taunk shared the lead with two-day aggregate scores of 139 while Mohammad Sagor (140) and his countryman Mohammad Nazim
(144) were in the third
and fourth position respectively.
