A schoolboy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Rajpara area in Rajshahi city yesterday.
The victim Sabuj Uddin, was a class X student of Kashiadanga High School, of Haragram Poshchimpara area.
Police recovered the body in the morning and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Sabuj's relatives told that he had been suffering from mental abnormalities for several days.
