Messi out for six weeks

Barcelona's Argentina striker Lionel Messi has been ruled out of action for six weeks after tearing a muscle in his left leg during Tuesday night's Champions League victory over Scottish side Celtic.
Messi picked up the injury after 34 minutes of play as Barcelona won 1-0 to book their spot in the quarter-finals.
"We have to be very careful," Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard said in December after the player was sidelined for five weeks after tearing a muscle in his left thigh. "(Messi) is a very explosive player and it's for this reason that he has muscular problems from time to time," said Rijkaard.
