BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will conduct a mass contact campaign in the capital on December 26 for the reinstatement of the caretaker government system before the next parliamentary elections.

A case was filed against him and Fakhrul, along with many others in connection with the violence on December 9 during the 18-party alliance's countrywide blockade.

Freedom fighters will hold a rally tomorrow at Mahanagar Nattyo Mancho.
"At least ten thousand freedom fighters will attend the programme,†Tariqul said.
The BNP leaders bitterly criticised the government for releasing top criminal Bikash, claiming that killers were being released to foil opposition's demonstration and to kill its leaders.
