Siddikur still on
Siddikur Rahman was close to surviving another cut as he made some ground on the second day of the Iskandar Johor Open on Friday. The 28-year old golfer, who was able to play only three holes on Thursday due to thunderstorm, finished the first round on par and then was on one-under-par in the thirteen holes of the second round.
Siddikur's firdst round was a mixed bag as he managed two birdies and an eagle along with three bogeys which left him on par. The second round was a bit better as he carded one birdie and remained bogeyless in the thirteen holes. Siddikur will return this morning to finish the remaining five holes along with a host of other golfer before the cut is decided.
The cut has been placed at one-under-par with around 70 golfers, including Siddikur who is at joint 54th, likely to make it to the next two rounds. Siddikur will have to make sure he remains one-under-par to make the cut.
