New AUST campus opens at Tejgaon

The new campus of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) was commissioned at Tejgaon in the city yesterday, says a press release.
With commissioning of the spacious campus in a new location, a long cherished desire is being fulfilled.
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) President Kazi Rafiqul Alam handed over the campus building in a ceremony at Tejgaon yesterday.
In the handing over ceremony he said the new campus will accelerate the already earned quality and fame of AUST at home and abroad through continuous hard efforts by all concerned.
AUST Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain informed in the ceremony that the new 10 storied building spanning 4,20,000 sq ft is built over five bighas of land and academic activities will start in the new campus by April.
AUST Treasurer Dr Kazi Shariful Alam, Prof Dr MA Muktadir, Prof Dr SM Kabir, Dr M Sahabuddin, Prof Abul Hossain and Engineer-in-Charge of the project Ziaur Rasul were present on the occasion.
