Six addl, joint secys transferred

Six additional and joint secretaries have been transferred in a latest reshuffle in the administration.
At the additional secretary-level reshuffle, AKM Abdul Awal Majumder of education ministry has been transferred to food and disaster management ministry while Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Shafiul Alam to Bangladesh Forest Industry Development Corporation (BFIDC).
At the joint secretary-level change, additional Director General of food department Pius Costa has been made DG of the same department, said an official release yesterday.
Dr Khandaker Shawkat Hossain of the social welfare ministry has been transferred to the establishment ministry while establishment ministry joint secretary Sadaruddin Ahmed, now OSD, transferred to the youth and sports ministry and Begum Masuda Binte Quadir transferred to social welfare ministry.
