The Daily Star's new Ctg bureau office opens

The new office of the Chittagong bureau of The Daily Star was inaugurated at AS Tower in Hill View Residential Area of the port city yesterday.
The Daily Star Editor and Publisher Mahfuz Anam was present on the occasion to greet guests.
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Manjur Alam, former CCC Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, BNP leader and former commerce minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, entrepreneurs, leaders of trade bodies, and representatives of social, cultural and political organisations visited different departments of the office since the morning.
They expressed hope that the daily would continue to highlight the culture, traditions, business and other potentials, and future prospects of Chittagong.
