Unesco book fair on Wednesday

The inaugural ceremony of the Unesco Book Fair 2008 will be held at the Central Public Library at 11:00am on Wednesday.
The National Association of Unesco Clubs, Bangladesh in cooperation with Unesco, Dhaka office will organise the book fair for the 7th time in the country marking the International Mother Language Day.
Different publication materials, books, posters published by Unesco will be on display in the fair, said a press release yesterday.
Cultural Adviser Rasheda K Choudhury is expected to inaugurate the book fair.
Malama Meleisea, Unesco representative in Bangladesh, will attend the function as the special guest.
The fair will remain open to all from 11:00am to 6:00pm, the release added.
